I would like to add a "Recommend this site" box to my pages that will let users type in an email address to send a link/email to a friend about my Jamroom site.

How would I go about doing this?

Exactly something like that except it would

(a) Not require any image verification
(b) Just require the user to enter their friend's email address and hit a button to send
(c) Share the index page rather than any of the member pages.

You can remove the image verification in the script_share.tpl file. You can also perform the other operations in the same template.

I heard a lot of scripts of this company has many vulnerabilities.
Some XSS injection could be, so I wouldn't recommend to use it.
