I added a custom form field to my "create a video" section but it does not show up on the site...any solutions?(using Pro Jam Light)

Not sure what your code is on the page but did you do a {debug output="html"} to see what variable are available?

ok let's make sure we are on the same page here hehe.

1. you created a new custom form field. (So you created video_name for example)
2. you added the new custom form field to the template that you want it to appear on. (so on my_tpl or whatever you named it you have added something like:

{If $VIDEO_NAME == 'yes'}
do something
{/if}

3. new field is not displayed

If this is the case, add {debug output="html"} to your my.tpl and pull the page up and look for $VIDEO_NAME and see what can be used.

Thanks.The field is displayed in th control panel but the output does not appear on the website..

You need to add it to the template where and how you want it to appear!

That just builds the entry. How would the code know what you want to do with it? Search the site there are hundreds of example of how this is done.

Once you create a custom form field you'll need to add the new variable to either your templates... Jamroom does not do this for you.
