I just upgraded from 4.1.4 to 4.1.6 and now my member and artist signup buttons do not call up the signup form.

I had to use firebug to pull the code off the page but I don't understand why it won't work.

Code
<input type="button" onclick="jrLoad('#signup_choice','http://oursite.com/community/index.php?t=signup&amp;quota_id=-2','#signup_choice',5);" style="width: 400px;" class="l_button" value="01 - Member - $4.99/mo">

IE8 did report this error though -

If I remember correctly, I believe that IE does not like spaces in the value attribute for buttons - if you remove the spaces, it should work.

IE was the only one that was reporting the problem but the signup option buttons are not working in any browser (ie. Safari for PC, FF or IE)

Did you follow my recommendation on your other thread?

Thanks!

yes, in fact loading in the .htaccess file (for an unknown reason sef_htaccess did not load via ftp) fixed the sign_options.tpl loading problem but now the when you try to select an option it will not call the signup form template. Not in any browser.

What error do you see? Make sure you check with Firebug. Please post a link too if you can.

Thanks!

there is no error... it just seems like every onclick element does not work when you call up the signup_options.tpl

the login button does not work and none of the signup options call the signup form

I can not see any errors... I have checked my code vs the demo site line by line and see no differences

I have removed other js to try and locate conflicts

I only found one difference in the .htaccess info in the JR Docs compared to the sef_htaccess that is in the package

there is a \ between the www and the . in the sef_htaccess and not one referenced in the JR Docs

I removed it but it did not fix the problem

Problem Fixed! For the sake of the community I will explain the problem.

IE8 has problems displaying the rounded corners with an image background (shows small white triangles in corners, where it should be transparent) and so I have modified the CSS to be more rounded corner friendly. In the process of designing I commented out the /Nova/js/jquery.corners.js script line in the <head> of the jr_header.tpl

This was the cause of the problem. Even though I "thought" I no longer needed that script, once the js loaded in everything worked again.
