There seems to be a problem rating items and profiles in 4.30. As in a previous thread here> http://www.jamroom.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=40279#233584
there were some issues relating to the ratings timer. That has still not been fixed.
Another issue is that when one user rates an artist, another user CANNOT rate that same artist and says that it appears I have already rated this entry, even though im under a totally different user. This is the same for the profile rating as well as songs.

Thoughts?

BTW..this is a newly downloaded version with no customization.

I would suggest your using the same ipaddress with both accounts and it thinks your the same user.

I read in the other forum that they turned the rating timer off and it fixed the issue.

Maby that would help.

I had a look at it yesterday and could see the issue happening, but could not isolate a specific reason.

It seamed to sometimes work and sometimes fail. New issue tracker created here:

Good Point, are the ratings tied to IP, for tracking or by username?

Yes I did turn the rating timer off and that would let me rate, but it didnt fix the timer issue, just circumnavigated it.
