N8Flex said to talk to the author of the YT Seamless module. This is the thread but I'll repeat the question here...

Using YT Seamless. On Nate's Wall (actions Module), for imported youtubes, the default video thumb displays...not the youtube thumb.

In his action_attachments.tpl I see that he has it set if jrYoutube...
"http://img.youtube.com/vi/`$YOUTUBE_VIDEO_ID`/default.jpg"

Do we need to add something more to get the youtube thumb on the wall with YT Seamless? I am hoping to do this with the SoundCloud module as well.

Just replied on Nate's thread then found this one so copying here (will delete the same post there).

What skin are you using?
There are sample templates for the Maestro skin included with the module as well as all the stock Jamroom skins.
If its not one of those you need to take a look at some of the samples to get an idea of what needs to be done in the video templates you are using in order to get the YouTube videos to show correctly.
Its fairly straightforward.

We're using Nova. The players embed properly on the profile pages, but they show the default audio/video thumb on the wall using N8FlexActions.

Correct thumbnails show when inserting a Youtube link using his status update feature.

I don't know what N8FlexActions are. Presumably they have a template that defines the video thumbnail? Its that template that will want modifying to handle YT thumbs as well.
