I have updated my JR5 today with all the updates, however in the user account settings "Language" choice, it shows English and Spanish, the problem with this is I removed the Spanish language and replaced it with Portuguese, but the Portuguese doesn't show as one of the Language options, what have I done wrong?

Have you changed the file names and references in the templates etc. from'es-ES' to whatever the Portuguese equivalent is?

That's the thing Paul, I didn't know I had to change it in the templates, which templates?

I did change it in the header template top/right, and that works just fine for all users, but when a user is logged in, in their account settings / language choice it doesn't show the Portuguese one, just the English and Spanish.

I only have two languages in my skin/lang directory, but yet on the ACP it shows about 5, some old ones too that I don't don't have on the server any longer, how do I remove these?

They are likely stuck on the database.
An Integrity Check should remove them. If it doesn't then it could well be a bug.
Let us know.
Thanks
Pa

I think it's a bug Paul, just today alone I have run Integrity Check about 3 times and I still see them.

Ok, sounds good, but is it possible to have a fix posted before that?

Not at this time. If you mist remove languages you no longer are using or need, you will need to go into the jr_jruser_language database and remove the ones you do not want.

Thanks Brian, I just cleared everything there and ran Integrity Check, now it's showing the correct languages (English and Portuguese) on the ACP, but on each user's Account settings, for languages it shows English and Spanish and no Portuguese, I don't understand thi, as Spanish should not be there and Portuguese should.

I'm not seeing Portuguese in the core language mapping - all "es" entries are mapped to Spanish. What is the name you are using on your language file?

Thanks!

- Brian

The name of my language file is pt-PT.php,

You said you're not seeing Portuguese in the core language mapping, what do you mean?
