Dazed:

error: the template file "radio_playlist.tpl" does not exist or is not readable from the skins/Cobalt directory

I have copied the files and regenerated the theme.

Dazed

That's because you need to be using the Proton template for this fix Wink

Thanks

Just to recap on the radio playlist issue, there are two fixes for this scenario. You can either:

- 1. Copy the includes/templates/html_radio_playlist.tpl file to your skins/Proton directory.

or

- 2. Copy this file to your skins/Proton directory:
http://www.oinkba.com/2fix/radio_playlist.tpl.zip

and this file to your themes/Proton directory:
http://www.oinkba.com/2fix/radio_entry.tpl.zip

Then regenerate your artist themes.

Hope this helps.

This TOTALLY removes the flash xspf player and forces listeners to use iTunes or other mp3 player!

How do we get the use of the xspf player back?

I wish I would of stayed in 3.0.9

This fix has nothing to do with nor does it effect any of the coding for the radio stations play function. In fact the radio station has never had the option for the XSPF popup player in either my mods or Kirk's ExpressMediaPlayer.

Thanks

I believe you, but now YOUR player does not pop up. And YES, my radio stations would pop up with YOUR proton xspf player!

LOOKIE! click on play hi-fi (sorry you have to be a member to stream hi-fi's.)

zorag,

when everything is stable with the correct version of Jamroom. Can you put all the changed files together in on spot for us to download? This way we don't need to search the forum for a fix here and a fix there, they will all be together in one file.

Thanks

-George

Yes I will post up a single fix file, but let's wait for that fan system fix first from Brian.

Thanks

This is how you fix the fan error - modify the Proton/fan_header.tpl file and change this:

Code

{jr_fan band_id=$BAND_ID template="fan_join_form.tpl"}

to this:

Code

{jr_fan band_id=$BAND_ID template="fan_join_form.tpl" tpl_dir="theme" theme="Proton"}

That's the recommended way to do it, and should work.

Hope this helps!

- Brian

That's fine, I never did the Jamroom 3.10 update on the Proton. Like I said I have JR uploaded on a sub just to work on. So whenever it's all worked out is fine with me, just please let me know.

Thanks

So everything is cool now? Can I make the changes as well as the Jamroom 3.11 file changes?

EDIT:

I just uploaded the change files for Proton. Everything seems to work other then the popup player. When I click to stream a tune the default windows media comes up. Any suggestions where I can change this?

Thanks

When I first installed Proton the player popped up when you clicked on the tune for the featured artist. Well that don't popup anymore, I also seen the other Proton websits where the XSPF flash player pops up on the artist page. I wanted to have mine like that, this is one of the features that sold it to me.
Alot of the bands that I deal with don't like the fact that a media player plays there tune b/c anyone could ripp it off.
