We provide web design for users of jamroom. We do flash design, theme design and website design.

We also do website design for bands and artists and non-jamroom sites and other types of sites aswell.

question

do you have the user signup for jamroom integrated with your free e-mail accounts too?

for instance, if someone signs up through your jamroom, are they automatically signed up for an e-mail address also?

just interested.

I have to say, the site looks great. You deffinitly put some work into it...

Now for the constructive criticism Wink

Flash is cool, but often bulky. Speed Before Beauty.

Explorer is the most common, and the worste, but not the only browser out there. Cross Platform functionality is important.

I shall never sit and wait for a little "Load" sign. On some pages, the top takes so long to load that the bottom never loads...so I need to refresh the page...that just doubled your bandwidth for that single page view.

Maybe I'm just getting old...but I can't read the blue on blue text very well.

Anyways, don't take it bad...it's constructive criticism. To be fair, I give you an 8 out of 10~ that's better then I give my own site Laughing

I really couldn't do a whole lot on your site though...like I said, I just can't read the text very well... the colors just kinda blur together with text and background.

Cheers!

Thanks DJ no offense taken, thanks for the comments. I think one of the issues we are having is a javascript menu making our site load slower. We had the page set that all images load before the page fully loads. Which in a few moments my team is replacing the front page, its funny our java script menu verses a flash menu. The page load time is cut by 10 seconds. Once we make these changes the site should load in about 20 secondas on a 56k. Yeah I agree on the text aswell and I did they them to change the text color so it would stand out more. But if you got the right flash designers you can make flash load fast again I think our issues was the javascripts. Gives us a day or so. It should be much better. again thanks for the comments.

ps i see they already replace the sub menu on the home page and yes it does seem to load somewhat faster, i guess with the rss. news feeds that makes a difference too.

maybe a stupid question:
is the text in the flash templates (e.g. the artist name) coming directly from the database or are all the flashs hand-made for the artists?

The text is coming for the database. Smile If we made each for each artist we would be making templates everyday all day.
