Hello Steve,
Does the sitemap software you have for jamroom, automatically generates the sitemap or you have to run it once in awhile. Which formats does it create the sitemap in (eg.html, .txt, .xml .gz) and does it crawl all the section of site or just limited pages?

If you submit the sitemap.php file to the Google webmaster programme it will run the generator each time the site is visited. However, for a large site you would probably want to submit the sitemap.xml file which is written each time the script is run (you would probably set up a cron job to run the script once a week).

The sitemap data is output as xml.

It generates the profile sitemap data from the files in the artist directories, but there are many options in the config file to exclude certain quotas, exclude part files or certain file types, etc. Into this config file you would need to enter your main menu links and other options such as links in the database. I am using SefJam friendly urls, would there be an issue or it would be fine. Plus will it work on clustered servers or no?

You just set sefjam = 1 in the config file and the friendly urls are used.

I have not coded anything for the cluster server into it, so I doubt that it will work properly with artists on the clusters.
