Its not needed correct If i can make the form field in the cutom form fields I can get rid of the schema and the php page in front directory cn still plce the info into the db correct?

The schema is only needed if you're using your own database tables/fields.

The schema won't create custom form fields - it will only create database tables/fields you specify (i.e. you can add to the quota table if needed).
