hey Daddysylem, I'm having problems loading playlist from my cluster server using the audio and video player. Here's what kyle from the support forum suggested.

smith.kyle:
The URLs for the play.php files are different -

artist homepage: http://www.fiezta.com/jamroom/play.php?mode=song_hifi&band_id=12&song_id=all&type=xspf

songs page: http://c1.fiezta.com/cluster/play.php?mode=song_hifi&band_id=12&song_id=21&format=ip_M

The first part of the URL doesn't matter - it is the &type=xspf and &format=ip_M in each, respectively, that makes the difference. Also, in the flash player that first shows on the artist homepage, it looks like the playlist_url is being double URL encoded.

smith.kyle:
The one that doesn't work - you'll probably need to add &format=ip_M to it. You best bet is to consult the documentation that came with the player.

where/shat do i modify.

It looks like some of your templates have changed.
The "player_audio.tpl" which loads the audio player when the artist page first loads is missing part of the code (&format=ip_M) which is needed to make the player work correctly.

I'm not seeing anything else wrong with any of the other templates.

Did I install this??

You sent me the files to upload directly to my web server.

Reupload the "player_audio.tpl" that I sent you to the "themes/Nova/" directory and rebuild your artist themes but dont use the fast rebuild option. Always backup the file before you overwrite it just in case.

See if that solves the problem..... Smile

Whats confusing me is that all the changes I made to the templates and sent to you are not showing up on your artist page. The template "player_audio.tpl" produces a file called "player_audio.php" which is what displays the player on your artist pages when you first travel there. But that file is not showing the changes I made.

Are you sure your uploading the exact template I sent you and are your sure its overwriting the existing template on your site. All the other templates seem to be fine except that one.

Can you email me the template your uploading so I can see it.......
