MY JAMROOM ENTREPRISE COMES WITH JV PLAYER: (www.longtailvideo.com/players/order)

If you don’t buy a commercial license, you cannot use a JW Player on (i) a site that has ads; (ii) a corporate site; or a (iii) CMS.

Any Comments ?

We have purchased a Unrestricted distribution license for the JW Player to allow it to be distributed with Jamroom as a commercial license - you don't need to worry about it, as you are covered under Jamroom's license.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Brian, I came accross the lisense issue when i wanted to change the links inside custom menu on the player to make it "about Gen X Music" but could not find the action-script file so...

JV sais to change the custom menu links u need that lisense.

Any chance we could take advantage of this lisensed feature ?

Yes - if you have a license for Jamroom, then you have a licensed JW player.

Hope this helps!

My guess is that you would need to edit the source .fla file, but I'm not familiar with flash so I'm not sure.

If it is an available file under the Jeroen/longtail license agreement you would be able to get it from the longtail site, otherwise it might not be available as a part of the whole.

All the Jeroen Source files including "as" and "fla" files can be found here.........
http://developer.longtailvideo.com/trac/browser/tags

They really don't make them easy to find..... Wink

You'll also need Flash CS3 or above to edit the player.

Instructions for creating skins for the player can be found here.
