How do I change the welcome note to new artists and members in the Pro Jam light skin?

Are you referring to the login templates maybe? They are located in the /templates/login/ directory. (although I'm not sure if ProJam has it's own login note, in which case it would be located in the /skins/ProJam_Light/cp/ directory).

No i am talking about the note that is sent to all new members...The welcome note.

That is in the templates/email directory and is called something like jr_signup_*.tpl (there are a few templates).
