Does anyone have any good recommendations on any cool modules that are a must have or that will make my site more interesting? Just looking for something to add to my website for my artist and members.

Hmm.... the Facebook and Twitter mods for sure. Depending on your artists, you should definitely get the paMultiUploaderPlus, which allows them to upload 12 items at once (or however many you decide as), instead of going to the song or vault interface and uploading one thing at a time, they would have a dropdown box of things they uploaded already in place.
The paYouTube one is good. SEFJam Bookmarks is good....

Any bridge you need to connect to a Joomla, Drupal, WordPress, vBulletin, etc. It links the Jamroom database of users and artists into your CMS or Forum. I personally use the phpBB3 bridge and it works perfect.

You should also get the Payment Pack (lets you sell digital media), the Power Pack (gives you the HIFI to LOFI Converter and the ability to add/use videos on your site).
And the Skin Pack and Cluster Pack if you need them.
