am running Joomla 1.5.6 with legacy 1.0 enabled.

configured the JR Bridge for Joomla 1.0 and it's working when I test it. but when I create a member in the JR admin I get the following

Quote:
The following error was encountered in the bridge:
ERROR: unable to determine the correct GID value for users from core_acl_aro_groups table - verify database connectivity

anyone any ideas why this error would come up when the test in the JR admin is saying it's working.

cheers guys

The "test" simply tests database connectivity, it does not validate any of the Joomla stuff. If you are running in "legacy" mode, you might try the older bridge.

Hope this helps!

Hi guys. I get the same error when trying to created a bridged account.

ERROR SAYS: [signup.php] jrRunBridge() Error in plugin: ERROR: unable to determine the correct GID value for users from core_acl_aro_groups table - verify database connectivity

I am running 1.5

What is the solution to this if any?

I downloaded 1.5 joomla bridge and it worked perfectly..Only issues is it creates a listener account and not an artist account in my Joomla...I would guess that would be a joomla issue?
