So while working on the development of my next module, I came across the need to display an error or success message to an artist, member or administrator within a jamroom control panel section. i have tried to set the message with jrSetFormNotice() then display it with jrGetFormNotice(), but it isn't displayed.

I also tried using jrShowNotice() but that doesn't display either. I believe the messages are not being displayed because they are expecting a form and the Jamroom control panel section is a group of buttons.

The only way I have been able to display the error message is with a regular echo command, but it doesn't look very neat and it gets displayed above the jmTextBanner();

Any Ideas?

Thanks,
Tim McCune

Make sure you are initiating the user (using sessionVerify or sessionCheck), as the session variable will not get saved properly if you aren't.
