I created a 'temp' folder on my server and put JR into it (there was a good reason at the time !).
Now I come to delete it with Filezilla, and it leaves behind the themes sub-folders, all empty, but repeatedly refuses to delete them !!
Tried the same with CoffeeCupFTP and that comes back with the message 'folders not empty', even though they are !!
I tried setting the folder attributes to 777, to no avail.
Any suggestions?
Cheers
Pa

Pash -

In the jamroom/themes/<theme name> folders there are 2 "control" files that jamroom uses for configuration of the theme internally - they are called ".config" and ".description". Sometmies files that begin with a period are not shown by FTP clients since they are seen as "system" files. I know that FileZilla normally shows these, but I am wondering if there is a setting that can make FileZilla "hide" any files it thinks are system files?

I am not really sure since if the directory is empty of all files (and subfolders) you should be able to delete it... very wierd.

Is it only the themes subdirectory that won't delete?

That was it Brian
I found an option in Filezilla to show hidden files, refreshed and the '.files' appeared. Now you can delete the folders that contain them.
Strange Surprised
