for a project Im doin.. I only need to count a video play if the entire video (or atleast 90% of it) has been played.. I then need to update mysql with the play based on session_id.. I can handle the php/sql part, but does anyone know how to get the video swf player to hand off a variable to php at a certain time?

I thought JR had the ability top set the playtime amount before it counted it as a play? if I could find that, I could perhaps use some of that logic to build what I need to do.

I'm actually still working on this, And I'm getting close to a solution....

I've discovered that I can code a switch into the player that will send out a variable and actually post the variable to a page or make it available for use. And although I haven't actually coded it or tested it in my players yet, it should be doable with the current players coding.

You want the action that triggers the variable to be 90% of a movie played So the problem now is trying figuire out how to code the action so it will trigger the switch and then making it all work together.

Unfortunately I don't do this for a living, so my time is limited.......
But I haven't forgot about you and I may have something worked out by this weekend.
