Hi DaddySylem,

How can I make it where the actual artist pages can have a pop up url link like the radio station pop up link, Go to AirmMySong.com to know what I'm talking about. Also what I want to do is get the direct url link to the artist flash player. So I can create an app on facebook, and it opens up the flash player like this link here: http://apps.facebook.com/rodnstaff/

Its way to difficult to type out an explaination of how to do this in a post...... Wink
But thankfully Jamroom is full of examples for you to learn with.
Look at the coding used in the Cobalt3 Theme for poping up the Artist Player.
It should give you everything you need.

I'm not a Facebook expert and I haven't had time to study how they are getting the players to load on Facebook. But I would think its going to take more than just a link to the Artist Page flash player.

Can you please explain exactly what you need??

If you havent got your app created already then its not going to be an FBML app.

http://developers.facebook.com/roadmap/:
No new FBML apps March 11, 2011 We will stop allowing new FBML apps, but will continue to support existing FBML tabs and apps. Instead, we recommend using iframes.

Going forward FB is going to be using iframes for apps.

The URL you have give for the facebook app is using an iframe which actually points to:
http://www.airmysong.com/playlist.php?id=1&show=1&template=radio_player.tpl&skin=ProJam2

So the player is not on facebook at all. its on that users site.

Read the docs and set up any template on your own site with the player and data you want in it and you can display it on FB as an app.

Thanks Ussher, thats good to know........ Smile
I would think setting up an IFrame would be much easier than trying to create an app to work on Facebook.

Thanks,
Greg -

after im halfway through the book "Essential Facebook Development: Build Successful Applications for the Facebook Platform"
http://www.amazon.com/Essential-Facebook-Development-Successful-Applications/dp/0321637984/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1302337262&sr=1-3

That says the best way to get your app integrated is with FBML.

Not such a happy announcement for me.... Sad

Thanks Usher and DaddySylem,

The only thing I dont like about the FB App is it don't land on the actual FB App. Your actually on a profile page , and then you have to click on where it says: Get Started: Go to App: I may not be making any since, but I dunno. Click here to see what I'm talking about.http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=189360781108869 Also Usher how did you get that link? I have no clue how to get the link to the skin players. Could you please tell me. Also I would like to know how visitors on the FB App can not be redirected out of the FB window, but however stay inside of the App scroll bar window. Also how can I set it where the App is on the Main profile page along with the wall, info, photos, and the like button: FB is tooooo crazy.
