Is there anyway to have 2 sizes of the Slider?

I remove the "Welcome" section in index and i want to fill that area with slider.. but in the news page need it to be as it its default size.

Cant figure this out

No not possible.. that slider is a fixed size for use on both the home page and news page. You would be better using another slider there, something like this:
