I installed the "MP3 Shop" and would like to make it when users clicks on the picture it takes them to the page with the buy now buttons in stead of the "Profile info for" because users more likely to click on the image than the tiny word below the image. The user is more likely to miss the " view button" that takes them to the "the buy now buttons" page.

Open your skins/ProJam2/shop_artists_gallery_row.tpl and find this code:

Code
<a href="javascript: centert.loadajaxpage('{$JAMROOM_URL}/ranking.php?mode=band&amp;band_id={$BAND_ID}&amp;search_area=band_name&amp;footer_template=shop_artists_footer.tpl&amp;row_template=shop_artists_row.tpl&amp;header_template=shop_artists_header.tpl&amp;replace_0={$BAND_NAME|jr_replace:"'":""}&amp;replace_1=Profile info for:')">

and replace it with this code:

Code
<a href="javascript: centert.loadajaxpage('{$JAMROOM_URL}/ranking.php?mode=song&amp;vault_only={$smarty.config.vault_only}&amp;search_area=band_name&amp;search_string={$BAND_NAME|jr_urlencode}&amp;pagebreak=20&amp;footer_template=shop_songs_footer.tpl&amp;row_template=shop_songs_row.tpl&amp;header_template=shop_songs_header.tpl&amp;replace_0={$BAND_NAME}&amp;replace_1=All tracks by:')">

Hope this helps,
Douglas

Make sure you have the artists_id set to the Artist quota id in your skin settings.

Hope this helps,
Douglas

It means you need to add some more explanation into your question. Perhaps add some urls so that its possible to see what is going on.

If you make it easy to understand, its easy for people to help you.

Try starting by showing us the page

Quote:
I installed the "MP3 Shop"

What is the "MP3 Shop" and what skin did you 'install' it too?

Quote:
and would like to make it when users clicks on the picture

Which picture? got a url where we can see what is happening?

Quote:
it takes them to the page with the buy now buttons

A url would help here please.

Quote:
instead of the "Profile info for"

A url would be useful here too. (only people who have the same setup as you know what your talking about past here)

Quote:
because users more likely to click on the image than the tiny word below the image.

(im guessing this means that the word below the image is the link. and you want to expand the link to include the image.) you would do that by extending the

Code
<a href=""
to enclose the image as well, in the template that controls it.

Quote:
The user is more likely to miss the " view button"

I dont know what this is, but if you could show me a url i could understand what your talking about.

Quote:
that takes them to the "the buy now buttons" page.

url...

When logged in as the admin, click the PJ2 Settings link at the top of your home page, or go to your Admin Control Panel and click the Admin Options > System Config > System Skins and click the Settings button to the right of the ProJam2 skin.

In the artists_id field, make sure you have set that to the quota id for your artists.

Hope this helps,
Douglas
