Hi Guys,

Im running jr5 on windows 8 localhost and im geting this error

The ffmpeg binary: modules/jrCore/tools/ffmpeg is not executable! Set permissions on the file to 755 or 555.

How can i make it executable on windows local system

I downloaded a different version for mac to get it to work on localhost. You could try searching to see if there is anything similar available for windows.

Jamroom 5 does not work on Windows - if you must run windows download virtual box and setup a Linux VM.

Hello all,
This problem appear to me with update to JR5 5.0.1 and 5.0.2
i must use the original ffmpeg in jr5 5.0
....

JR5 on dedicated Debian 7

the ffmpeg binary has not change since JR 5.0.0 was released - the binary in 5.0.2 is identical to the one in 5.0.0.

on my Debian 7 x64, it refuse the ffmpeg from 5.0.1 5.0.2 !!!!
only the original from 5.0.0
Strange, no Rolling Eyes

same uid /gid ...

What do you mean "refuses"? It's the same file so I'm not sure what the issue would be.

AND i've seen an error like

Re-upload the ffmpeg binary in binary mode instead of ascii.
