It would be a nice feature that the members could set their time zone so notes, comments etc. would be accurate for them.

Not a built in solution, but I imagine that wouldn't be terribly difficult to do with a custom smarty field and a smarty date modified for the time variables/functions.

I like the idea.

I think you'd need to be a bit selective on how you implemented it though. Like for forums its nice to see time in your timezone, but for events that could be disastrous.

I think there is a 'time ago' setting for the time outputs at the skin level. That works for all timezones. "Posted 25 min ago."
