I've found it essential to have form designer apply to store products.

I'd like to embed youtube video on my product pages. I could do that fairly nicely if I could add a field for a youtube id which would be the id of a youtube video I've added.

An alternative would be if I could embed youtube video in the product description. However, I can't seem to do that either.
