I am doing a new install to test various things out with a third party skin, using JR4.3.1 and every time I do a clean install after I press the continue with install I get the error:

generateTheme() unable to read master theme config file - theme.cfg

Then I cannot log in to JR either

Any solution?

Thanks

Thats 2 problems, so I would say get the "cant login either" one fixed up first.

"Changing the MySQL or Master Admin Password"

Then try changing to a default skin to see about the other. My guess is that your using a custom skin that doesnt have a theme.cfg file, try adding a theme.cfg file to see if it helps.

use one of the default themes ones to copy.

I managed to fix both issues by downloading all the modules again and clean install, so some templates where perhaps missing.
However.
I am using the Flashback skin in JR4.3.1 and in the System Config the item'Modules' is missing from the display. Would you know why?

Thanks

Not sure I understand the question sorry.

If your meaning that you cant access the modules from the admin panel, the most common cause of that is the system license has not been entered.
