Hux - once again thanks for setting up the demo - I appreciate it. When I get home later today I'll send ya the reg-codes (e-mail me your address to use).

Currently I haven't programmed in any user limits, nor admin "approval" of uploads, but both are excellent suggestions and will go into the to-do list. Can't believe I didn't think of them before - great ideas Very Happy

As for anabling WAV, I actually think it wouldn't be hard, but I am not sure you can "stream" a WAV file (I'll have to look into it) - it would always pop up a window saying "save to..." etc, probably not that big of a deal.

Have you checked out FLAC? I been working on getting it supported as I would like to support a loss-less codec that supports streaming. This would allow bands to post WAV-quality songs (especialy for download) at about 60-80% of the size of the WAV. So far I have encountered issues with getting it to stream (I beleive it is a playlist / mime-type issue - hopefully have it ironed out shortly)

Thanks again for the suggestions... I appreciate it!

- Brian

no problem, thank YOU!

actually we're looking at this as a kind of collaboration engine as well as showcase tool....that's the reason for wav support. We don't care so much about streaming wav's, just making them easily available by collaborators...We are currently using ftp which works well for some folks, not so well for others.

hadn't heard of FLAC, but I'll do some googling later on today.

this looks good, seriously.
