I get:

"error -you do not have the proper privileges to download the file"

Make sure you have the Jamroom Quota for "visitors" set as you want it.

Hope this helps!

thats not the error, you need to create a fake member account to have access to the downloads.

thanks

This is the error I get from the first song I try to download, I get the same error from 2 different computers with 2 different versions of IE

"Internet Explorer cannot download ...ng_hifi&band_id=37&song_id=80 from www.songtiger.com
Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later."

It looks like you removed the test/test account so I can't test here with IE7...

Hmm.. I'm seeing the same problem in IE7 as well, although I'm not seeing any issue on the Jamroom Demo.

I think the problem might be related to something I am seeing that's a bit weird - for some reason a small browser window "pops up" before the song begins downloading (in firefox) - this isn't something I see on any of my sights.

Do you have any modifications to your download.php script? are you using any 3rd party changes? I think that small window is causing the problem in IE7.

Hope this helps!

I have made no changes to the default download.php script, Could it be a server issue ?

No - the problem I believe is in your artist theme - for some reason this javascript is being executed on the download:

onclick="popwin(this.href,'name','500','200','no');return false"

I believe this is causing an error with the download.

I'm going to move this post to 3rd party support, since this is something you'll need to work with Huw from Oinkba with to find out why he is doing that.

Hope this helps!

I have seen IE7 do this on a regular basis with several different sites. (not just Jamroom) If I find an answer for it I will post back here.
