I am fairly new to php and have been learning along the way.
I need help with a couple things.

1. How do I add more cateroies (ie Messages, Music,Store, ect...) to my site? I understand where to add the shortcut on the menu. Is there a blank template i can use to make a new category page with?

2. How do I edit the field names when i upload a song? Such as how do i change the text on the field "Label" to "Description"?

I know there is an easy way to edit these texts within the php files. But i am having a very hard time locating the files that i need to edit.

Any help would be appreciated...

Thanx!

To add more custom entries to the menu's on the themes, you will want to modify the theme template files (*.tpl), located in the jamroom/themes/(theme_name) directories.

You can modify the strings that appear on the Artist Menu in the jamroom/language/*.php files (i.e. english.lang.php is probably what you are looking for). Just search for "Label" and change it to "Description" and you'll see your Artist Menu change as well.
