Ok,
i have a chatroom,. i dont use it much and its not available to my members yet.,
however i want to have it inside a jamroom page.
ive created the jamroom template and i was going to just slam the chatroom into the template just via an I-FRAME,. however im sure theres a better way ?
the chatroom wont be full screen and would fit inside jamroom perfectly ,.
any ideas would be appreciated,.
the chatroom is here : http://www.v7music.com/forums/chat/flashchat.php

the jamroom template page is here : http://www.v7music.com/artists/index.php?template=chatroom.tpl

thanks .
Darren.

Fair warning to flash chat users... Keep it up to date, always...or better, don't use it... it seems like there's a new exploit for it on a weekly basis.

I've seen more jamrooms hosed by exploits in this script then any other...

Cheers!

Just use the scripts for YOUR forum that integrates with your flashchat. I too have a couple flash chats, and yes one was hacked into. It was one I had my Buds hook up into my forum connected with my jam room.
I do not remember the folder, but there's one with ALL the different scripts it'll work with....delete ALL the scripts but the one you NEED for your site. Also rename your flash chat! Most of them are found by the hackers gogling 'flashchat'. Change the name of your flash chat and it'll help some. ANd what ever you do don't make it a public chat!!! Make it for MEMBERS ONLY!!!!
My flash chat that got hit had NONE of these things changed and they brought down my whole site, luckily...we found the clown who did it and my Buds are as ruthless as those hackers so I'm sure they were quite surprised when they fired up their ol' PC's that next day!!!!

If you use a forum, you may want to look at X7 Chat. It incorporates with most boards and uses the existing login info from your forum.
