I guess my concern on this is links that my members currently have out on the web will no longer work.

Steve keep us posted of your progress!

Ok, I took a quick look at this and although I haven't been able to try this on 3.1, I think this should work to allow the new custom css feature. If someone using artist custom stylesheets could try this out and check that this works I would very much appreciate it.

In your SefJam .htaccess file, after this line:
RewriteCond %{ENV:REDIRECT_STATUS} ^$

Add this line:
RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} !(([^/]+)\.css)

This is the same condition used to allow xml and other files in artist themes with SefJam and the condition can be repeated for each type of file.

Thanks

I have just checked this out on the SefJam Demo Site and the above fix seems to work perfectly, but please let me knwo if you see any problems with your particular configurations.

http://www.sefjam.com/bebop_artist/ now has a red background!!!

Thanks

At some point in the near future (probably during August), I will make a SefJam update which will improve the urls generated by some of the new 3.1 features including content pages and the artist forums. I'm not sure what I can do about the History section though!

Note that these 3.1 features do work with SefJam without modification, but the urls are not as beautiful as the SefJam ones.

ok I made the change and I see one issue. The history links no longer function at the top of the page.

Any ideas?

edit.....

I see this for the url. Looks like a slash is missing after the *.com

Do you have a link to the page where the history does this? And what actions are you taking to get this url in history?

I can't reproduce this on the sefjam demo, but I haven't tested extensively.

www.guitaristworks.com

Just click some links and look at the history trail on the top right. It is just missing the / slash. If you add it in, they work. Just not sure where to change it.

Thanks Steve!

ok one other issue I am seeing here if anyone could help out with.

The forum link is not rewriting as shown below. It breaks some code I added that works on the other pages.

http://www.guitaristworks.com/forum.php?band_id=10
if you change that to

http://www.guitaristworks.com/forum.php?band_id=dfw it works.

Also the electronic Press Kit link is the same but even if I change it, I get a blank screen. Any ideas?

http://www.guitaristworks.com/epk.php?band_id=10

Thanks!

it breaks in IE 6.0 and look at the stats section. That code works when the url is changed to band name instead of band id. Sefjam is not rewriting these sections.

I get three errors on the EPK link

ERROR! the template file "jr_search_header.tpl" does not exist or is not readable from the skins/Cobalt3 directory

ERROR! the template file "jr_search_row.tpl" does not exist or is not readable from the skins/Cobalt3 directory

ERROR! the template file "jr_search_footer.tpl" does not exist or is not readable from the skins/Cobalt3 directory
