A note from my ISP

The script appears to be failing after utilizing only 10-15mb of memory, but the limits in Apache and PHP are much higher, 64MB+. This indicates a potential scripting issue. Did you recently modify this script? I do see several files in your public_html directory with a modified date of 11/12 at 11PM CST (last night).

[13-Nov-2008 14:21:44] PHP Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 9699328) (tried to allocate 3 bytes) in /home/izhmel/public_html/include/jamroom-database.inc.php on line 615

jamroom config -> environment settings

Make sure the memory limit is set higher then 10MB (like 128M or 256M but your server won't allow you to use that much). If its already set high, there is a hard limit on the server preventing it from working.

Also bear in mind, the servers hard limit will prevent you from uploading a file larger then about 20MB, the chart also requires a bit more memory then the servers hard limit will allow.

Good luck!

This is not a caching issue - this error is coming out because your hosting provider has likely made changes to their PHP setup, and are now restricting your memory. Based on your error, it appears to be set to ~13mb. If you have set it to 128M in your Jamroom Config -> Environment Options section, and you still get this error, then it means your hosting provider is not allowing Jamroom to override the default memory allocation for PHP.

Hope this helps!

- Brian

It isn't a file - it's a link in the control panel.

I would recommend reuploading the jamroom/*.php files and jamroom/include/* directory.

All files have still not been uploaded, or are corrupted:

Make sure you've uploaded the _entire_ jamroom/include/ directory (also, if you're doing a new install, make sure you are uploading the full core download and not the changeset files).

your error log is showing this error:
[07-May-2009 22:48:22] PHP Fatal error: Smarty error: [in /nfs/c01/h02/mnt/3813/domains/theflowlive.com/html/skins/Nova/jr_index.tpl line 1]: syntax error: unrecognized tag 'jr_lang_prepare' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 599) in /nfs/c01/h02/mnt/3813/domains/theflowlive.com/html/include/smarty/libs/Smarty.class.php on line 1092

have you altered the language files at all? try re-uploading the default Nova skin.

not really a great idea to just give out your server log in info.

Jamroom does provide a guaranteed install service for $40
http://www.jamroom.net/Purchase

or if your hosted with jbservers.net they will install the script for you too.
