I would like to put a truncated 750 or so characters version of the {BAND_STORY} at the artist music page while longer stories than 100 words would be available in full at the artist .:more info:. page.

I tried to use smarty truncate modifier {band_story | truncate:100} but couldn´t get it working. Would this be possible somehow?

Here you can see a test site for the layout. The text should cut off app. at the artist pic bottom level.

Same kind of truncation would be cool with {SONG_STORY}.
