There are a couple of them out there, if you search google for "Free flash player script"...

The problem with them is that they don't really work with jamroom very well.

The other problem is that they don't work for a lot of listeners very well.

The best thing a website can do, is require a standard media player that everyone should already have.

Cheers!

You will have to custom build one, if you want it to work with jamroom, we did one and it takes time and like DJ said it works great but there are cons to have it aswell.

The url is www.wimpyplayer.com I found this the other day too and this can potentially work with jamroom however, Brian should probably look at it and mess around with it as it needs to write things to the database (which I didn't wanna mess with).

Let us know how it works Brian.

Yeah, Brian, and while you're at it, I'd like to be able to send e-mail through Jamroom directly to God Almighty. Let us know when you're done.

I think for $30 I'll just use winamp Cool Although it is a nice looking player...I just don't see the point. With the different media types jamroom allows for, you're really pinning yourself in a corner to get stuck with one file type system wide...something that won't work for everyone.

Quote:
Wimpy AV can play FLV video, SWF video, SWF animations, and MP3 media.
Wimpy AV will not play MOV, RAM, RM, RA, ASX, ASF, AVI, MPG, MiV, MPA, MPE, MPEG, MP4, WMA, WAX, WVX, WM, WMV or MPG4 files.

Wimpy MP3 and Wimpy Button can play MP3 files.
Wimpy MP3 and Wimpy Button will not play AAC, AIF, WAV, MPG, WAV, RM or ASX files.

Haven't they heard of ogg? Well, it doesn't play that either...

Cheers~
