They both use the same encoder (AFAIK).

If the one is working, the other will too assuming that you set all the encoder settings the same.

VirtualDJ might be better then using winamp though anyhow Wink

any software that supports winamp DSP or has its own DSP that supports the shoutcast server will work.

Usually winamp is the easiest (and free), but you can use anything you want Wink

Cheers!

Just a quick update... With the new JBServers.net design- the shoutcast control panels will need to be updated to match. Some things may look a little "funny" at the login page, other then that, its the same.

It will be updated soon to match the main site.

Thanks

Sammy was working on it last I checked.

I will ask her if its ready, and see if we can get it online this afternoon.

Thanks for the reminder!

Just an FYI that the sage skin integrator is online.

I'm putting a hold on the flash player for cobalt3 and sage, as theres a number of things that need to be fixed to make it "smooth". Once I get the flashback version hammered out, I'll migrate it in to a cobalt3 and sage version.

Thanks!

That will happen if the configuration file isn't configured correctly Wink

Cheers!

ze config-hur-ation file is/was configured thusly....

Code

#Shoutcast Skin Integrator
#Please configure this before uploading!

# Set your shoutcast control panel URL here
# just the domain name, as shown below

sc_cp_url = cast3.jbstream.net

# Set your shoutcast control panel Host Name
# If you are using jamroom integration, this
# will be your domain name.

sc_cp_hostname = rockaffairs.com

# Set your shoutcast control panel username here
# Remember, this is CaSe SeNsItIvE!

sc_cp_user = speedbunny

# Set your shoutcast port here

sc_cp_port = 7000

# Set your station name for the flash player

sc_cp_station_name = RAFC

It was getting the details from the shoutcast server to display in the page, but it wasn't sending the playlist to the Flashplayer.

Anything to do with password protection on the site?

ANYWAY - not a big deal because I like how it's running anyway Smile But 'flagging it'...

Thanks for doing this Deej, m'dear, very, very helpful.

This part:

Quote:
# Set your shoutcast port here

sc_cp_port = 7000

Needs to be set, 7000 is not your port Wink You'll find your port number on the main page of the control panel, then it will work Wink

Hope this helps!
