Digging up a REALLY old thread... sorry! Laughing

I wasn't scared away, just fell asleep for a while and worked on some other projects.

I've been hunting around the forum and nobody appears to have come up with a similar project to this still.

I'm VERY out of date on Jamroom and haven't looked at it since creating this facebook app (which was working perfectly on a site that sadly no longer exists)

Testing with the guy who was testing for me didn't go great, mainly due to my site having lots of other modules installed. In the end i had too many other things on to turn it into a proper product.

However i'm willing to give it another go if the interest is still there.

So is anyone interested in a paid for module (will be cheap) that does exactly what my first post said, but for the latest version of Jamroom?

Would you prefer it for Jamroom 3 or 4?

The original version was written for 3...

DJB31st:

Code
I'm in the final stages of putting together a facebook add-on for Jamroom that enables facebook users to play your jamroom music directly from their profiles.

I need a tester, to test the code on another Jamroom install.

The specs of the kind of person i am after to test are as follows.

Should have a basic understanding of uploading PHP and SQL files.
Must have a Jamroom site (preferably customised)
The server can't be hosted on JBservers (as i have a tester for this)

The tester will also receive the product free.

Reply with your site URL please.[/b]

Tester now found, thanks for showing interest Very Happy

Hi,
I dont think so,what Brian has is One click login.
Is this what you are talking about http://www.jamroom.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=33655
There's nowhere it says you can play your jamroom music from facebook.
Thanks.

A very very rough release of how it would work.

Add the app on facebook at http://apps.facebook.com/FamBoom/

Currently you need to manually give it permission to live on your wall by going

http://www.facebook.com/editapps.php?ref=mb
edit settings
box add ticked

I am aware of a few errors, mainly the strangers feature is not working and nothing gets posted to the wall or any of the feeds, i need to update things to the new facebook API's

Its also only working on jamroom 3 at the moment, just wanted to give people a sample to look at before i press on.

Thought and comments, but no bug reports please Smile

Anybody like what they see and want it developing into a module for Jamroom 4?

I'll try and get something together this weekend if so, if there's no interest then i'll leave it on the back burner.

ok mixxy..

Anything that you can see that is obviously missing other than what i've already posted.

I'll try and get what i have working currently but on jamroom 4 (which should be fun!) and then tidy up around the edges Smile
