Having just replaced my machine with a lovely ebayed refurb macbook pro (and just finished setting it all up) I thought I was back up to speed.

WRONG

It won't start up at all, not from installer disks or anything. I have replacement RAM in the post, so hopefully that will solve the problem and I will be back in the morning. If not, I guess the machine will have to go back for repair or replacement which will be a real problem.

If you want to buy SefJam, Clouds or Sitemap please bear in mind that it may take longer to get the files than normal, and sorry for overdue responses to emails as well. Fingers crossed that it is just the RAM.

I am back online again, so you should receive files promptly.

It seems it was the RAM, and that it corrupted the OS Kernel at the time of installation - new RAM and installation from scratch seems to have fixed it.

However, I will leave this notice in place for a week or so just in case disaster strikes again
