hey I want a host where i can test the new features and skins on my jamroom so I thought lets signup to the sandbox but which type must I select ?

Register a new domain with JBServers LLC.

Transfer my domain from another registrar
or
Update my domains nameservers only at my existing registrar

I have already a domainname and host and is it possible to view the "sandbox" by calling a other url i.e www.sandbox.domain.com instead of www.name.jrhost.com ?

Choose the third option, you'll have to manage your DNS seperately.

Please note that the sandbox comes with 0 support, so people using it will need to figure it out on there own (not unlike paypals sandbox Laughing). But hey, its free.

hope this helps!

Hi Dj,

I get 2 error on the jr_sandbox package.

when configuring the cluster server in a sub dirctory:

Code
ERROR: (check_alive) The Jamroom Converter Server ffmpeg binary cannot be executed on your server. The following error was encountered:

/home/san10004/public_html/c2/include/plugins/jrMediaFilter/tools/ffmpeg: error while loading shared libraries: libbz2.so.1.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Make sure you are using the appropriate ffmpeg binary that is suitable for your server architecture.

and Mod_rewrite does not work. Can you take a look at this ? thanks

I believe mod_rewrite should work. It looks like the cluster might not be installed properly (with files missing). They might also not allow something intensive like ffmpeg to be installed on a sandbox.

oke well I created a sandbox account because I want to try if I get the conversion server working, it doesn't work on my current server so I thought If I can make it work on JBServers it's a server side issue.
Moving profiles between servers works fine.

Ahh, I don't think the conversions will work then.

Hey whats the deal with JBservers being so slow are answering support tickets?

I'm running a shoutcast with you guys. The Centova cast is not working properly and it shouldn't take 24rs or even close to, too respond and address.

It's obvious no one is even there. Evil or Very Mad

The source won't deactivate right and two DJ's the other night looked like fools live in front of fans. NOT COOL!
