-Quick links to your jamroom, store, charts and stations.

-Custom Site radio player with visit button enabled.

-Jamroom search

Love them or hate them, toolbars a great way of increasing traffic to your jamroom, thats why everyone uses them.

This isn't some boring adware filled search engine toolbar. As well as providing quick links to your site you are also keeping the user entertained with music while they surf.

Here is an example:

http://www.igrooves.net/toolbar/igrooves_toolbar.exe

If you want your own, im doing custom versions for your jamroom for $20.

To order goto:

http://www.igrooves.net/members/4/store.php

Once payment is made, please forward the following to admin@igrooves.net

- your jamroom URL (www.yoursite.com)
- jamroom logo (must be no more the 22 pixels high)
- path to your skin folder (e.g. www.yoursite.com/skins/cobalt)
- your site radio stations URL

I just stickied this for you - it looks nice Wink I think some screenshots posted here would help others too that may not want to install the tool bar at this time.

Hope this helps!

Great work, but what the difference between your work and this:

http://www.conduit.com/Toolbar/PlatformOverview.aspx

It's free, no ad-ware, fully customizable, logo, colours, gadgets, rss feed, podcast player and so on.

Forgive me but I'm tryng to realize what for I have to pay $20 for a toolbar. Wink

There's quite a few of these on the net which use plugins which are defaulted xml. You probably can do something similar but it will use a google search function which is difficult to incorperate into jamroom and default defined players which although will play your stations, wont support the functions of the play.php script like the visit button, song title, artist title etc.

I've not seen this one so cont say for sure as the toolbar build function is being upgraded or something.

I doubt that this site also complie's your toolbar into an .exe installer as well.

I'll have a closer look when its up.

Any way of customising this to include your sites RSS feed and buttons to go direct to the chart etc?

There is but at the moment its really unstable which is why i haven't included it.

I've almost cracked it on IE but mozilla is proving difficult. I'll let you know when i get it working.

dynamic update function is only available with IE and not supported within a complied .exe you would need to create a web installer which uses activeX controls. I have done toolbars with activeX installers before but the trouble is a large percentage of users block the controls for security reasons. Further more, the dynamic update function is often identified as spyware and deleted corrupting the toolbar.

In addition to the issues above, each toolbar is unique and besides a very basic layout template is built from scratch. Consequently, to provide updates for each individual toolbar I create is just not feasible.

I will however, within reason update the toolbar if you change skin affecting the toolbar's search function or if any future jamroom upgrade's incorperate different search criteria. The upgrade would then be administered throught the player asking the user to upgrade linking back to your .exe file.

Just paid for one and sent you an email with all the details.

I'd be grateful if I could have a new version if you get the RSS working though. Or could you just put an RSS button on the bar linking to my RSS at http://www.the-muzic.com?t=rss_content?

Thanks

Rich

Can you setup the Radio portion of the toolbar to stream a shoutcast server?
