Hey DS,

Just curious if you've seen any issue with the scrubber bar not working in flashback?

I just purchased another jamroom (3.25) w/flashback, and the upload status works fine but the scrubber doesn't move and is not movable (actually if you try to move it , it stops the video and snaps back to its original starting point) on any of the video players?

I'm also having the same problem in cobalt3 video players on my other jamroom site and this seems to have started after upgrading to 3.2.4, the previously uploaded videos work fine but all new videos uploaded after upgrade have this problem.

*actually having the same problem with cobalt3 players on new site as well , themes, skins, house player etc. pretty much all of them have this problem.

I looked for bugs but didn't see anything posted in the issue tracker. (unless I missed it)

Thanks for any help Wink

-Rob

Can you give me a link to the problem on your site.......??
I'm not seeing an issue with this on my test site running 3.2.5

Thanks....

If you can get on the site you and I are working on, you can see it not working there too. The loading bar works, but the progress bar doesn't move and like bodawg said, if you move it, the movie stops playing and then starts over. Wink

I sent you a PM........

bodawg
I looked at your site and I see what you mean........

But can I ask if either of these sites are on cluster servers??
Because I don't see this on my 3.2.5 test site and I am not on a cluster server.

Nope, neither of them are.

And the one I gave the link to (the newest one)hasn't worked since install, so I'm fairly certain it wasn't something I goofed up while tweaking the site although I haven't had any reason to touch the flash players 'cause they're pretty amazing in flashback Wink

Thanks,

-Rob

The player your using on the site you gave me a link to is a beta player that was rejected in the final release of 3.2.5 because of problems with the code snipper. But the font page video player was never changed so I am a little confused because its doing the same thing. So now I"m wondering if you actually installed the "complete" Final Release of version 3.2.5 for Jamroom and the Skinpack making sure to overwrite all files??

Its confusing to me because my test site is running the complete final release of version 3.2.5 (all packs) and I'm just not seeing the issues on any of the players that your both having on your sites.

I really don't know what else it could be unless for some reason its the video files themselves. But that doesn't even make sense to me.

Let me know.......

Even more strange is that I'm having the same problem on my other site that's running 3.24 and only started to have that problem after upgrade to 3.24 which is only running cobalt3, no flashback installed.

Plus the player on my one artist profile of the site i showed you is using cobalt3 "theme" with same problem.

I had Brian install the one I showed you maybe a month or so ago, so I don't know if that was beta version or not?

Maybe I'll just wait for 3.3 upgrade and see if that helps.

Thanks DS,

-Rob

It must be the players, my test site works fine. I'm going to try and upload the players again and see if that fixes my issue.

Oops, spoke to soon... I think I may have found the problem. If the video is less than say a minute, the progress bar doesn't move, if its over a minute it seems to work fine. Or maybe its the video file itself?

Your right Six, and I agree...........
Seems the progress bar has a problem with anything under a minute. Also if its playing a video under a minute and you try to scroll it forward it jumps back to the begining of the video.

Thanks guys, I'll see what I can do about this..... Very Happy
