Hi steve,
just i want to inform you that I had to disable th ultrafriendly URL because It doesn't work on last Jamroom Release 3.3.0

It was working fine on release 3.2.5, then i updated to 3.3.0 and this is the error I get when i try to call a webpage using the Link Masker:

PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare jrmaintenanceredirect() (previously declared in /var/www/vhosts/musicstage.it/httpdocs/include/jamroom-session.inc.php:45)

It happens if I call a page using the link masker for example http://www.mywebsite.it/list=Artists

If I call directly an artist site like www.mywebsite.com/ArtistName it works fine, keeping the artist name on the address bar.

Thanx a lot for your support and have a nice day.

Serjoka

Thanks for the report, I'll take a look at this later on this weekend.

Hi Stevex any news about the critical error.

Unfortunately I use sitemap with sefjam enable. So even if i updated the config file of sitemap to do not use friendly url the submitted google link are not still refreshed so I'm getting crazy about it Wink

Is it possible I'm the only one that have noticed it?

Thanx,
Serjoka

Thanks for the report!

I would advise not using the linkmasker for your menu. Leave sefjam enabled and just use the normal links in your menu as it says in the install email.

It is possible that you are the only person to have noticed it as most people don't use this part of the script any more.

I will try to look into this later on today and see what is up with it.

Hi stevex, thx for your answer,

I have my own skin, artist links works fine, but if i use for example the link http://www.mywebsite.com/list=Artist i get a blank page and i activity log the error i reported on main first post.

So i do not think that linkmasker is no longer used by Jamroom users, 'cause is one of the reason why i bought ultrafriendly url Wink

Best regards,
Serjoka

Hi serjoka,

I am unable to reproduce your CRI error at all.

Everything seems to be running smoothly with the linkmasker links, at least on sefjam.com

Is there anything else on your site that might be interfering with this working correctly?

Thanks

Steve

Nothing else steve,
I'm using a custom skin but i'm sure the skin is not the problem.

Today I'll do some more test and I'll let you know.

Thank you for reply.

I am seeing both of your errors now on SefJam.com.

Neither Jamroom nor sefjam had any updates, but the problems started out of the blue, so it looks like it is down to something changing in the server configuration.

Can you pm me the detailed server config report from your admin cp please.

I started to get the error after upgrading from 3.2.5 to 3.3.0

My version ow is 3.3.3 and I still get the same error.

Hi Serjoka,

I'm wondering if you solved the issue in your side and how?
Thank you for your advice,

Hi Eric,
I have still the same problems, I had to disable the ultrafriendrly Url.

I'm sure It's not a server problem because i own the server and I'm the ony one that mantain it, so I'm sure I didn't make any server update. I just updated Jamroom. I Also updated sefjam with a new .htaccess file without solve the problem.

I started to have such problem from jamroom 3.3.2 update.

Hope Stevex can find a way to fix it.

Regards

I am going to try and find a fix for the link masker aspect of sefjam this week, but as it works on some servers and not on others I strongly suspect that it is server config related.

Eric has a test server which works perfectly, but the link masker rewrites give a blank page on his live server.

as I previously said, i own my server, so I'm sure nothing changed for server side and before the Jamroom 3.3.2 it was working. Everything happened after the update.

Dunno what could be the problem, for sure not my server setup Smile

Thank you for your support.

This should be fixed if you upgrade Jamroom to 3.3.4.

Thanks to Brian for finding the solution.

I'm sorry to advise you that actually I'm running the latest version of jamroom and I have also updated the .htaccess file with the latest version you have sent me.

And i still have such kind of problem.

Hope to find a different solution Smile

Serjoka
