I have been working with post nuke and jamroom and have come to a stage where things are actually finaly comming together.
What i would like to know is if the main jamroom theme can be edited,
the login screen, specificaly, so that the colours fit my postnuke theme.

first thing you will want to do is create your own Jamroom "skin" - the default for Jamroom is "Jamroom Blue" and you will find the CSS file in the jamroom/styles directory. make a copy of it (along with its subdirectory) to a new name i.e.:

jamroom/styles/new_name.css
jamroom/styles/new_name/(image files in here)

Modify the new CSS file until it matches the colors you have set up for your site, then set it as the DEFAULT admin skin in the master settings.cfg.php file (in jamroom/config). Your login screen will now take on that style as well.

That should help you integrate the Admin side of things into your site.
