actually, i am designing a new theme that you just edit the css and place the headers in the theme directory, which i will include, and bam, fully customizeable theme....coming soon...this week....

I get this error message at the top of my bands page when using this theme. I have Jamroom 2.28.

You did not fill in the URL TO YOUR content header and footer. you can remove those lines or edit them your choice.

Where are the content header and footer. I tried editing the common_footer.tpl and music_header.tpl but I'm getting the same error messages.

Where is the content header and footer and what URL path are the two files looking for?

the header and footer would be the top and bottom of your original design so that you can customize the theme easy. i can edit and take this out if needed. let me know.

The files I changed to make this theme work was:

music_header.tpl
about_header.tpl
message_header.tpl
store_header.tpl
event_header.tpl

Hope this helps, I didn't delete the lines I just used comment tags.

Shocked

I bought this temlate from you yesterday, I'm getting the same error.
Please for non-geeks and non-programmers exlain in plain English what this means. A one page user guide with what to change in what templates etc would be helpful. Also can you include an example path of where the header footer templates are supposed to go, even an example header / footer would go a long way to ease my frustration with this template.

Open the TPL files in note pad....

music_header.tpl
about_header.tpl
message_header.tpl
store_header.tpl
event_header.tpl

find where you see this.....

change the URL TO YOUR/content_side.php file....a content side, header or footer is a simple html file that has the content that you want to include...this is so you do not have to edit every file on your theme and add customized content to the theme, on the side, footer and header....
