just went to see about getting sefjam and it says in the marketplace it's $999 is this a mistake or a joke or something?

I haven't been selling sefjam lately as my time online has been greatly reduced whilst travelling abroad. There was no way to suspend it, so I just added an unfeasible price. You can of course buy it at this price if you like and I will try my best to spend a while near an internet connection. ( internet connection is just about sorted now).

There should be an announcement here about availability in the near future.

Having a great time, I am just starting to settle in, broadband is working (with some ftp problems though).

Snow has appeared on the mountains although it is sunny and warm here again now, I am aching from riding a horse, and happily spending time catching up with my sister and niece.

I haven't made much of a start on the house repairs - there doesn't seem to be tool in the place apart from a crowbar, rake and broken hacksaw. Luckily I brought my trusty roll of gaffa tape...
