Heres a quick suggestion why not add the jr path to the sites logo so that it matches the sites logo without worrying about altering it along with all of the normal JR buttons on top. I did it with a little playing but i know with every upgrade i will have to redo it just a suggestion which i think wil make it easy for all future upgrades.

Just got this, Installation was REALLY EAY so BIG PROPS to you on that.


You said you would like comments and suggestions for future releases so here goes:


DESIGN: More/better customisation options

My skin is not any official skin, its a heavily modded version of nova where i have built images around all the existing tables.. There seems to be no file to directly build anything around in this mod, and no way to move certain bits around.
That would most definitly be high on my list.. as i want it to work with the rest of my page, and using the method described in the HTML doc doesn't work with my skin

Features:

Rank output: The winner of the battle gets a medal on the song info page... also an output of how many battles the song/artist has one

Tournament Mode: This would be completely autmated, and start off with say 16 entrants

V ----- Winner Vs Winner (tourny reflected on other side songs 9-16)

People placed First Seconds and 3rd all get "medals"
If there is a fee (say $1 per entry)
First place gets $10 - Second gets $5 and third gets $1

Fees: A way for your site to skim 10% of the "prize money" from fees

Prizes: The ability to have different prizes.. not just money. For example CD give aways

Quota: The ability to control what quota does what... EQ ALL quotas can enter a battle.. but only paying memebers can play for prizes

Battle 1 --- Winner of battle one
Battle 2 --- Vs winner of battle2 --- Winner of this battle ---- winner goes to final
Battle 3 --- winner of battle 3 --- V winner of this battle
Battle 4 --- vs winner of battle 4

The same thing is happening with battles 5-8 and the winner for that goes to final

Im not sure if this is only an issue I am having but I created my first test battle last week noticed a change I wanted to make went back in and modified the battle. the battle was suppoed to end on 06/16/09 well its now the 20th and the batlte is still live. Any suggestions as to why this happened and/or is this something that needs to be looked at and fixed.

Not anything I'm aware of but I will test and see if I can find anything.

Just did another battle and deleted one song and tried to re upload a different song from the same artist but it did not allow me becuae I have already uploaded a song (although it was deleted).
So I switched to a different artist and said

Code

Battle Entries Reached Max. No openings available. The current entry total = 2 total entries allowed: 2

Keep in mind I deleted the one song so when I go to the battle page to vote it only shows one song

did you click on the update status?

the minimum entrants is 2
however one of my battles only had 1 person in
and is still running

The battle didn't Auto end on its end date..
When i did the update thing from the CP nothing changed
had to manually modify the battle to complete.

So i concur with JamesD.. the battles do not auto End, even if you do the update status.
You have to manually end them.
