Jamroom paMultiUploaderPlus Module for Jamroom 4.0+
Copyright 2009 by Talldude Networks, LLC.
Author: Brian Johnson (bigguy@jamroom.net)
Addition code by Paul Asher - paul@motagator.net

Version 1.0.0 10June2009 Initial Release

This is an enhanced version of the jrMultiUploader module that includes Admin Control Panel configuration for the
number of files that may be uploaded at once, and an Admin Control Panel Tool for scanning all the uploads folders
and displaying files older than a specified age (user configurable) with the option of deleting them.

This is a seperate module to jrMultiUploader and if it is all ready installed, will run 'in parallel' with it
(but why would you want to?).

Installation
Copy the paMultUploaderPlus.php file and the modules folder to your Jamroom directory.
Log into Jamroom as admin and you will be prompted to run the integrity check.
Create (or edit existing) a Custom Button for the Jamroom Quotas you would like to give access to it.
Use "paMultiUploaderPlus.php" as the Button URL. Installation is now complete.

Jamroom Configuration
Log into Jamroom as admin and go to the Config -> paMultiUploader section.
There are two fields - 'Age Threshold' and 'File Count'. These are set, by default to 24 Hours and 12 respectively.
Edit these values as required.

Usage
When clicking on the 'MultiUploader' button, you will see the same form as used in the jrMultiUploader module,
but with the number of file uploads set as above.

File Check - Go to the Tools -> paMultiUploader section. All the uploads folders are scanned and any uploaded files
older than the specified time will be displayed in a select form. Select files to delete them.

Removing jrMultiUploader
Not necessary but if you really want to, do the following

Delete the jrMultiUploader.php file in your Jamroom folder
Delete the jrMultiUploader folder from the Jamroom /modules folder

!!! DO ALL YOUR BACKUPS PRIOR TO INSTALLING THIS MODULE AND REMEMBER THAT I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG !!!

Pa

This module is great.

Would it be possible to add a feature to the module that would speed up the photo uploading process..

Eg, when you UPLOAD in the multi upload section, you could have a drop down to an already created category, then the uploader will load directly to the directory needed and bypass the whole manual upload of images.

I agree...one of the only things I dont like about Jamroom is how you have to in turn "create" a photo after you've already uploaded it...users get very confused by this

it's easy for people like us who develop sites...we look at the whole site and can figure it out...but when you're dealing with incompetent users we have to make everything as easy as possible for them
