How would I make the latest artist list on the main page? Looking to show the last 5 or 10 latest artists. Is this possible?

Hi
Easy - use the ranking.php call as follows -

<?php @include("http://www.yourweb.com/jamroom/ranking.php?mode=band&order=3&show=4&header_template=artist_latest_header.tpl&row_template=artist_latest_row.tpl&footer_template=artist_latest_footer.tpl"); ?>

Set show=x for the number of artist.
Also works for songs (mode=song) and other options

See it in action halfway down my homepage at www.motagator.net

Check out the Ranking Guide http://www.jamroom.net/docs/doku.php?id=guides:using_ranking in the Documentation Centre.

Its looking good except for the Featured artist block on your home page not fitting. Are you using layers?

What exactly are you having problems with? There are a few users here that are always glad to help, if we know exactly what problems you are needing help with. Very Happy

Featured artist block not fitting ? Everything looks lined up nice on my end and nobody else has mentioned this to me. I think I have pretty much figured out all the other stuff. I just worked with it for 12 hours straight and its starting to come together...lol

Using Netscape this is what I see on your home page.

**THE MODERATOR CUT THIS IMAGE CUZ ITS TO DANG BIG**

See how the featured artist table goes behind the latest artist table? Thats why I asked if you were using layers.

Of course it may not look this way using IE.

Out of respect to our dial up visitors, I chopped out your screenshot. In the future please use links to such large images.

Thanks!

That could be it. I use Maxthon as a browser (IE Based) And everything looks good. I will look at it and see what is going on with it . Thanks a bunch

Just another side not . I just DL Netscape 8.0 beta and it looks fine

Sorry about the big image, I'll remember that next time. Very Happy

Netscape 8 is setup to run more like IE, at least thats what I read about it. I was using Netscape 7 when I took the screenshot. Maybe time for me to upgrade to Netscape8. Wink
