What could prevent jrSetFormNotice from being displayed when called through jrGetFormNotice()?

LOGIC: first set the success message:

LOGIC: now display the message

somewhere inbetween the page refresh and the request for the notice to be displayed it is disappearing.

The notice is not being shown. any ideas as to what could cause it to not be shown?

Are you using saveForm and getForm as well?

I havent used either of those functions yet. this was just a form submission that got posted to a class and then exited the class through jrLocation once the correct message had been figured out.

Im looking at ways to get around the jrLocation now and just 'return' instead.

got this specific issue sorted out by changing the function. Couldnt find the cause of the notice not getting through.
