do sales contacts from the "contact us" link on the site go into the same queue?

No, most people send support tickets to the sales contact queue, I don't know why- it says on the page to use the ticket system. But they have all been answered, if you didn't receive a reply, typically the reason is a typo with the contact address when the form was submitted. Do feel free to try it again.
