Hmm - Never knew there were other captcha options in JR !!
Are you saying it doesn't work as is?
If so, can you switch it back to the regular captcha form and see what that does?

Recaptcha works fine on my jr install.
But it doesn't work if there are 2 captchas like in your template.

Sorry, but what do you mean by "2 captchas like in your template"?
I'm only seeing one.

if a user has recaptcha activated (like me) then 2 fields are showing up where you must enter the validation code as can be seen here:

So when recaptcha is activated, by entering the api code in the advanced config keys the default JR captcha should be removed.

OK - See what you mean now.
Is ReCaptcha a third party thing then?
As its not in the JR docs (any more) I'm reluctant to support it in the module.
Maybe try commenting out the captcha and checking in paSupportTickets.php -

Line 84 -
// $captcha_code = paSupportTickets_captcha();
// jmToolCell('Validification Code', $captcha_code);

Line 155
// jrSetFormNotice('error', 'Validation code incorrect');
// jrLocation('paSupportTickets.php?mode=open_from_tpl');

If that works, I'll consider putting a 'use captcha yesno' option in the module config.

Pa

no that doesn't work.
This is the code I use in the signup.tpl

Code
                      {*
     $use_captch will be set to "yes" if the "Require Image Test" setting in the
     Signup Settings section is set to "yes"
  *}
  {if $use_captcha == 'yes'}

    <br>
                        <center>{jr_form_captcha width="250" height="80"}</center><br><br>
             {/if}

When I activate Re-captcha the default captcha form will be replaced with the re-captcha.
Re-captcha is a product of google btw. http://www.google.com/recaptcha

Can you point me to your page where this is happening?
Having not seen recaptcha within JR before I'm curious about it.
Thanks
Pa

I'm currently working on a new design on my live server so the website is in maintenance mode.

But I put it online now so you can check it out: http://alternate-zone.com/index.php?t=signup&quota_id=-1

I created a custom signup page based on the sage skin so the code used is the same as in the sage signup template.

That is the Jamroom signup form.
How is this connected with the paSupportTickets module?
Cheers

I have no idea.
I uploaded the files and uploaded the ticket.tpl to the skin directory.

Oh right. I think there has been some confusion here with me thinking you had an issue with the module.
paSupportTickets has the means for visitors to create a ticket. When they do, they automatically become site members.
Template ticket.tpl is a sample Nova skin template showing how to implement this feature. Its not essential to upload it.

Create another template based on jr_index.tpl, say, then add it the contents of ticket.tpl in the main body of the page. You'll likely need to change some of the css as ticket.tpl is based on Nova.
Save new template as ticket.tpl then add in a skin menu to link to http://alternate-zone.com/?t=ticket
Cheers
