I never used them but Just Host looks good to me they have a special right now and when you click to leave the page they offer 20% discount so if they offer the normal discount with the stay on my page discount thats pretty cheap.

Unlimited disk space? If you find a host offering that let me know. I do not see how any host could offer unlimited disk space. Bandwidth I know some offer unmetered.

I use dreamhost. Unlimited disk and bandwidth, VPS hosting, and pretty cheap.

ask a lot of questions if its unlimited.

I was setting up an account for a client once with a hosting company they chose. It said unlimited bandwidth and unlimited space but when talking to the live support (which was very good) they ended up having a policy that was "reasonable usage"

"reasonable usage" mean that when they felt that your site was using more than the fair share of hosting resources that they would then suspend the account to be fair on the others.

When asked what I could do at that point, if there was any way to upgrade to keep my greedy site going the answer was no. They only had one package.

Find out what unlimited really means before choosing.

Funny you mention that Ussher. I was with a host before on a shared service and I was complaining about the speed and they said it was my site that was slowing the server down. They had over 200 sites on the one server. I was told 200GB Bandwidth and 200GB Hard Drive space. At that time, I was nowhere close to using that much of either. Anyway they said I needed to go dedicated and I did for awhile but I ended up on JBServers not long after.

It would take a lot to get me to switch. The price would have to be a lot less that what I am paying now. Hard drive space is the one issue I keep running into and the upgrades on that with DJ are not real cheap.

I looked into Pacific Host some time ago and the one concern I had was that they were not very cluster server aware. I let Brian know so he could talk them through it. I still do not know if they have figured this out 100% yet. They were telling me I would need 2 dedicated servers or I could just use one. I need the conversion process that the cluster provides. Two dedicated servers would not make them cost effective.

So I am keeping my eyes open just in case. I am starting to spend a lot of money each month and switching looks like it may have to happen in the not so distant future.
